Port Authority of NY & NJ - Alerts : " The Bayonne Bridge is now closed until 7pm Saturday, October 1st. Please plan an alternate route. The Bayonne Bridge will remain open throughout Columbus Day weekend, from 3 p.m. Friday, October 7 until 7 p.m. Monday, October 10, to accommodate travelers affected by a planned closure of the Goethals Bridge and traffic diversions related to the Goethals Bridge Replacement Project. In addition, there will be no daytime or nighttime closures on Tuesday, October 11, in observance of Yom Kippur."
