Portion of Bayonne Bridge to close for 40 minutes Thursday | Jersey Tribune: "The northbound lanes, heading from Staten Island into Bayonne, will be closed between  11 and 11:40 a.m. on Thursday as crews continue to work on the “Raise the Roadway” project, according to the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.

Contractors will perform demolition activities on a concrete toll island adjacent to the Bayonne Bridge’s northbound lanes during the brief closure, according to the Port Authority. "
