They will take place between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Motorists and community members should sign up for e-alerts on the Port Authority website for real-time information and scheduling of 20-minute holds.
From the first quarter of 2015 (probably starting in early Feb.) to Dec. 2015, some six-hour daytime closures are expected on weekdays. Plans are tentative.
There will be extended Friday night closures, beginning Friday nights at 11:59 p.m., and ending Saturday nights at 11:59 p.m., on Jan. 30 and Feb. 7."
