N.J. ports juggle rising workload with logistical problems

NorthJersey.com: "The pressure could increase next year with the expansion of the Panama Canal to allow larger ships to pass through it, which is set to be completed in April. That is expected to bring more business to the New Jersey ports. But port users expect the impact to be muted at first because only one of New Jersey’s four terminals — Global Container Terminal in Bayonne — is accessible to large ships, until the Bayonne Bridge is raised, at present expected in late 2017."
