APM Terminals to invest in new berth at NY-NJ port

JOC.com: "APM Terminals said it will issue a private tender for construction of the berth in the fall of 2016. That would give the company roughly a year before the largest ships able to pass through the Panamas Canal can call at New York-New Jersey. Ships calling the port must currently fit under the Bayonne Bridge, which is being lifted so larger ships can fit underneath it. That work is scheduled to wrap up in late 2017."
